I opened the notification for this apps in my iPhone, my iPhone is also not in the silent mode. However, I could not receive notification that my tomato is finished, unless I keep on opening the apps. It is not operating in the background apps. However, I checked there is no background setting for this app. Without a notification, this apps is useless.
