Android wear out of sync

2016/03/17 @ 20:08

Hey overall bug thumbs up for your app. I use it quite often, tho it tends to be ou of sync between my phone and android wear watch moto 360. It's that bad that it registered 2 pomodoro periods in the same time. One was ticking on phone, second on my watch. After real 3 pomodoros and one overlaping i got 15min break..

I have noticed this too.

However, things are way more awkward on my watch. I am on a HUAWEI Watch 2 running AW2.0 Chinese ver. with a OnePlus 5 running Android N, and have found the Wear Client doesn't sync at all. Both run their times separately and the watch client isn't able to submit Pomo after the completion of a session. The result comes with the latest public release 2.3.8-beta1.

I have this issue too, or sometimes after I submit a pomo on the phone, the watch still shows "Submit". Another potential issue, is that when a pomo is started, then abandoned on the phone app, and then a new one is started, watch shows "Submit" when the first pomo would have finished. If it is submitted from the watch, the pomo on the phone ends.

It would be very helpful if Pomotodo could release a guide on using this with Android wear features. For example, should I be launching both the Android and Android Wear app simultaneously, or should I only launch one of these apps? One then the other? If I'm using the Android Wear app, should I have the Smart Device feature enabled on the phone app, or is that for if you don't have the Wear app?

Phone is Pixel 2 XL, running Android 8.1.0 Watch is LG Watch Sport running Android Wear 2.8
